WALK OF FAME
We are still accepting requests for brick dedications in our Walk of Fame at NHS.
For those of you who have already purchased bricks, perhaps you would like to have a certificate to commemorate the brick you donated. The original forms did not include the option of having a certificate, but the newer forms do.
Due to the nature of the work, we are only going to be installing bricks ONCE a year, in the Spring.
Stop by and take a look when you are able - it's located around the flagpole in front of the school. Each goldtone brick is inscribed in black letters.
Money raised will be used for the annual NHS Alumni Assn. Scholarship as well as other on-going programs. Keep those orders coming!
$75 for two lines or $100 for three lines (Maximum 15 letters and/or spaces per line)*

| Memorabilia now at Applebee's |

If you have paid attention when you hear Applebee's advertising, they
tout themselves as "neighborhood" restaurants. Many of us have
patronized the Applebee's in Newark, located in Suburban Plaza on Elkton
Road and have quickly noticed memorabilia from Christiana and Glasgow
High schools on display. It has taken the Alumni Board some time to
change the display which now PROMINENTLY features NEWARK High School.
Our items reflect the over 100 year history of NHS, starting with a
program from a Class Night in 1897, pictures from the 20's and items
from every decade on up to and including 2004. Sports teams' state
champions are listed through 2003. Also features are pieces
highlighting the rich and unique history of our alma mater, including
the Class of '93 which was the 100th graduating class, and the
Millennium Reunion.
Information on the NHS Alumni Association is included. Please stop by
and "check it out". Let the Applebee's people know how thrilled you are
to have them spotlight the "Newark" high school at the Suburban Plaza
location.

| T-Shirt and Polo Shirts Now Available |
T-Shirts and golf shirts are now available with the NHS Yellowjacket logo and "NHS Alumni". Be true to your school and display your alumni pride by purchasing a shirt. Shirts are available in short sleeve ($12), 3/4 sleeve (white/gold or grey/black, $18) or collared lightweight short sleeved polo shirt ($25)
Clockwise, shirt designs are: 3/4 sleeve, collared polo, and T-shirt.
